The founders, Rafael and Annette Capurro (born Fiek), being aware of their social responsibility, are deeply concerned about the changes brought about by new digital technologies, particularly in developing countries. They are particularly aware about the situ- ation of children and adolescents under unequal living conditions.	Die Stifter Rafael Capurro und Annette Capurro (geb. Fiek) sehen in ihrer gesamtgesellschaftlichen Verantwortung mit Sorge die Um- wälzungen durch neue digitale Technologien, insbesondere in Entwicklungsländern. Desweiteren sehen sie ebenfalls mit Sorge generell die Lage sozial benachteiligter Kinder und Jugendlicher.
The Capurro Fiek Foundation (CFF) is an independent, non-for-profit foundation dedicated to promoting the analysis and ethical evaluation of the social and cultural impact of new technologies as well as to projects and help programms supporting children and adolescents under unequal living conditions.	Die Capurro Fiek Stiftung (CFS) will akademische Forschung durch Projekte zur Analyse und ethischen Bewertung der sozialen und kulturellen Auswirkungen der neuen Technologien fördern. Ferner widmet sie sich Projekten und Hilfsprogrammen zur Unterstützung und Förderung benachteiligter Kinder und Jugendlicher.
The Foundation is particularly committed to promoting: academic activities such as research, publications, and events in the field of information ethics, pedagogical and social activities to support children and adolescents under unfair living conditions, charitable projects dealing with overcoming the gaps and disadvantages with regard to access and use of information and communication technologies.	Der Stiftungszweck wird verwirklicht durch: Veröffentlichungen und Veranstaltungen im informations- ethischen Bereich, pädagogische und soziale Aktivitäten zur Förderung benach- teiligter Kinder und Jugendlicher, mildtätige Projekte zur Überwindung von Defiziten und Be- nachteiligungen bei dem Zugang und der Benutzung von Informations- und Kommunikationstechnologien.
